The Huadu Automobile Industry Base is one of the eight new scenic spots in Huadu District, which is called "the Prosperous Auto City". It was officially approved to establish by Guangdong Provincial Government in 2003. Such titles were awarded as "the State Torch Plan ofGuangzhou Huadu Auto &Components and Parts Industry Base", "China Auto Components & Parts Industry Base", "Co-construction Circular Economic Industry Base of Guangdong Cities", and "the State New-type Industry Demonstration Base", were awarded. In June 2012, it was upgraded to the Economic Development Zone. The base has gathered more than 140 auto components and parts matching enterprises, and their products cover various aspects of auto, such as engines, automobile dies, stamping parts,braking systems and inner decoration components, and so on. An automobile industry chain with large scale and integral structure has been preliminarily formed. The ten-mile Auto City presents such a splendid sight! In the field, new autos are arrayed row by row and are ready to be sold. The autotrucks, fully loaded with new autos, file out of the field like long dragons and head for all directions.
