Today’s Huadu News: On June 30, CRRC's 18-meter Bakelong buses, covered in tangram pattern, were officially delivered to Guangzhou Public Transport Group Ltd. at Guangzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd. The handing over of bus keys from CRRC Times Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd. to Guangzhou Public Transport marked the beginning of the buses ‘service in Guangzhou city. Yang Weiqiang, deputy secretary general of the Guangzhou government, Xing Xiang, deputy secretary of the CPC Huadu District Committee and District Mayor, heads of the Guangzhou Bureau of Traffic and Transportation, Guangzhou Public Transport, Huadu Government Office, and Huadu traffic and transportation department, and officers of Guangzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd. a CRRC Times Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd. attended and bore witness to this landmark delivery ceremony.

Since the official settlement of CRRC Guangzhou New Energy Vehicle Production Base in Huadu District in 2018, it has actively followed the trend to develop electric powered, network-based, intelligent and share-oriented public transport products. The delivery of the first of CRRC's 18-meter large-capacity, pure electric, high-end BRT city buses to Guangzhou Public Transport marked the market entrance of CCRC's next generation intelligent buses. Their ultra-long bodies can wind gracefully like a dragon; their humanized design is as good as that of the high-speed rail-level, allowing passengers to fully enjoy spacious and comfortable mobility; their on-board Yunzhitong intelligent management platform can monitor the status of vehicles and drivers in real time to ensure safe and efficient operation. All these make them veritable "smart bus" in the 5G era.

　　  Ms. Xing Xiang hoped that CRRC Times Electric Vehicle and Guangzhou Locomotive could make full use of the manufacturing and market advantages of the Guangzhou base, actively seize the current opportunities coming with the development of new energy buses, new energy sanitation trucks and other special vehicle equipment, and smart logistics, and work closely with Guangzhou Public Transport and Huadu District to accelerate their expansion into the new energy industry, so that they could contribute their share to the success of the green transportation system and the blue sky campaign of Guangzhou and Huadu District, and become a strong pillar for the overall achievement of a green and low-carbon "eco bay area". She said that the CPC Huadu District Committee and the District Government would firmly stick to the concept of “help entrepreneurs, support investors and serve taxpayers” and try everything to coordinate and vigorously support CRRC’s Guangzhou New Energy Vehicle Production Base in its way to grow bigger and stronger; and that the District would unswervingly build a "200 billion-level automotive industry cluster" as part of the District efforts to rejuvenate Guangzhou, and make new contribution to the "four new highlights “project.
