Guangzhou-Qingyuan Intercity Rail and the Section of Xintang-Baiyun Airport-Guangzhou North Intercity Rail Between Guangzhou North Railway Station and Airport Terminal 2 Station completed static acceptance, "One Line and One Section” Ready for Joint Commissioning and Testing

   Huadu News Today: An expert meeting was held on July 5 to review the report on the static acceptance of the communication system for Guangzhou-Qingyuan Intercity Rail and the section of Xintang-Baiyun Airport-Guangzhou North Intercity Rail between Guangzhou North Railway Station and Airport Terminal 2 Station, which marks that the "One Line and One Section” communication system is accepted as qualified in construction after meeting the design requirements and acceptance criteria, and is ready for inspection for dynamic acceptance. The meeting indicates the successful completion of a series of expert reviews of all professional static acceptance reports in relation to the "One Line and One Section” project, as well as the beginning of joint commissioning and testing.

   The project of Guangzhou-Qingyuan Intercity Rail and the section of Xintang-Baiyun Airport-Guangzhou North Intercity Rail between Guangzhou North Railway Station and Airport Terminal 2 Station is the first of its kind that is independently constructed and operated by Guangdong Province, and for that matter the first in China that is independently constructed and operated by a province. The 38km-long Guangzhou-Qingyuan Intercity Rail runs in the north-south direction, and has 6 stations, with its south end at Huadu Station, which is on the west side of Guangzhou North Railway Station, an intersection of Beijing-Guangzhou High-speed Railway and Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, and its north end at Qingcheng Station, which is on the south side of Qingyuan Avenue. The section of Xintang-Baiyun Airport-Guangzhou North Intercity Rail between Guangzhou North Station and Airport Terminal 2 Station is 20Km long, and has 3 stations. After leaving the Guangzhou North Railway Station of Guangzhou-Qingyuan Intercity Rail, it runs north in parallel with Guangzhou-Qingyuan Intercity Rail, then turns east at the south of Huadu Avenue, and finally reach Terminal 2 of Baiyun Airport along the Airport’s north approach road. The completion and opening to traffic of the section is of great significance; it will connect two major transportation hubs, Guangzhou North Railway Station and Baiyun Airport, rebuild the outbound connections of the airport, improve the rail transit infrastructure of Qingyuan city, and include Guangzhou and Qingyuan in a "one-hour intercity circle".

   The static acceptance of the project started on May 15th. Thanks to the careful planning and organization of the Pearl River Delta Intercity Rail Transit Company, the acceptance process has been completed in high quality in an orderly way in accordance with the overall plan and individual professional plans for the static acceptance.
