Today's Huadu News: Under the coordination and organization of the Pearl River Delta Company, two intercity multiple-unit trains of the model of CRH6A, No. 0631 and No. 0635 were delivered by China Railway Guangzhou Group on July 13 and 14 respectively; and the trains reached Shiling Station of Guangzhou-Qingyuan Intercity Rail without an incident through the Shiling connecting line. On July 14, the company arranged CSR Guangdong Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. to formally deliver the above two CRH6A trains to Guangdong Intercity Railway Operation Co., Ltd. at the Longtang Multiple-unit Train Operation Station. As the first intercity trains to be independently operated for the first time in a intercity railway constructed by Guangdong province, the delivery is a milestone event.

　　  The independent construction and operation of the Pearl River Delta intercity railway network is a strategic step taken by Guangdong province to implement the new urbanization strategy. It has as its object to achieve integrated development of intracity and intercity railway transit networks, by way of building a multi-tiered, multi-mode rail transit system with technical advantages of rail transit network at all levels on the foundation of resource sharing. As an important part of the Pearl River Delta intercity railway network, Guangzhou-Qingyuan Intercity Rail and Guangzhou East Ring Intercity Rail will promote the interconnectivity of people, logistics, capital and information flows between Guangzhou and Qingyuan, to realize deep integration of industrial chains, and build a quality life circle.

　　  The newly delivered CRH6A trains have technical upgrades upon their original version for higher operational safety, including video monitoring of pantograph, real-time monitoring of axle temperature, wireless data transmission, MU operation information analysis, braking energy feedback; additional toilets, electric stoves, chargers and other amenities are added to increase passenger experience; and the white and blue exterior painting has also been optimized and adjusted for a more lively and lovely look. It has been planned that after the trains are put into operation, they will be assigned the role of moving ambassador to promote the brand image of the Pearl River Delta Intercity Rail as one offering green mobility with smart trains.
