　　The plaque unveiling ceremony of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Construction (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Pacific Construction Group Company Limited, was held at Wanda Realm on December 11. The ceremony was honored by Wang Hongwei, Director of Guangzhou Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, Xing Xiang, Deputy Party Secretary and District Mayor of Huadu District, Min Fei, Deputy District Mayor of Huadu, and Yan Jiehe, founder of Pacific Construction Group Company Limited and chairman of Zhuangyuan Think Tank. At the meeting, Guangzhou Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, the People's Government of Huadu District, and Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Construction signed a 300 billion yuan strategic framework cooperation agreement in the hope of writing a new chapter in the cooperation for high-quality development of the Greater Bay Area.

　　Guangzhou is an important national central city and a core engine for regional development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. And Huadu, as home to the international aviation hub and a main battlefield for the development of real economy in Guangzhou, is also a bridge and link that connects the Greater Bay Area with the country and the world. Huadu District is now trying to seize the historic opportunities coming with the building of the Two Areas (Pilot Demonstration Area of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area) and the interaction between Guangzhou and Shenzhen. By going all out to facilitate the requisition and resettlement project the third phase of Baiyun Airport expansion, vigorously promoting urban renovation and transformation, and accelerating the construction of an air-rail integrated economy demonstration zone, the District is making every effort to build itself into an important pillar of Guangzhou’s plan to become an international consumption center city and a world-class tourist destination.

　　Xing Xiang said that at present, Huadu District was benchmarking against international first-class standards in all aspects; with the mind and attitude of "helping entrepreneurs, treating investors well, and serving taxpayers", the District was drastically pushing forward the reform of the business climate to create an environment in the whole District that is friendly, respectful, attractive, supportive, helpful, and caring to business, so that companies might come, stay and develop well in the District; and it was expected that Pacific Construction, starting from the execution of the Cooperation Agreement, would take root in Huadu, and fully employ its combined advantages of "resources, wisdom, and capital” as a Fortune Global 500 company to actively participate in the development and construction of Huadu, help improve the quality of Huadu's urban construction, playing its part in jointly writing a new chapter in high-quality development.
