Loong Air Zhongnan Central South Branch Established to help Huadu's Airport economy

  On December 22, ceremony was held in Guangzhou for the establishment of Loong Air Zhongnan Central South Branch and for its signing of a cooperation agreement with Huadu District Government A plaque unveiling ceremony was held to celebrate the establishment of Loong Air Zhongnan Central South Branch, which was witnessed by leaders and guests from Huadu District, Guangzhou Airport Economic Zone Management Committee, Huadu District Airport Economic Zone Management Committee, CAAC Central and Southern Regional Administration, CAAC Central South Air Traffic Management Bureau, CAAC Guangdong Safety Supervision Bureau, Guangdong Airport Group, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Company Limited, Guangzhou Airport Base Airlines Limited, and Loong Air.

  Loong Airlines and Huadu District Government signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement at the ceremony. According to the agreement, Loong Air will be committed to building a Central South headquarters in Huadu District to manage its operation in the entire Greater Bay Area and the six provinces in Central and Southern China; and it will, focusing on the development of air transportation of passenger and goods, air travel, aviation training, and air logistics and other aviation ancillary industries, further increase resource input to contribute to the economic development of Huadu Airport and the building of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport into a large hub airport.

  The Central South Branch is the third branch established by Loong Air after Southwest Branch and Northwest Branch in last year. By now the nationwide development layout of Loong Air is taking shape, with its company headquarters in Hangzhou for the Yangtze River Delta region, Chengdu for the southwest region, Xi'an for the northwest region, and Guangzhou for the central south region. At present, Loong Air has 5 overnight planes at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport and 16 inbound and outbound flights every day. It is estimated that by 2025, it will have 20 aircraft in Guangzhou and 30 aircraft in the entire central south region.

  As a local private aviation company based in Zhejiang and the official airline passenger service partner of the 19thAsian Games to be held in Hangzhou in 2022, Loong Air has a fleet of 54 aircraft, joining the ranks of medium-sized airlines. It is operating more than 400 domestic and foreign passenger and cargo routes, including more than 130 routes in Central South China.

  While pursuing the high-quality, group-oriented, intelligent and international development path in the future, Loong Air will stick to its original aspiration and keep its mission in mind, and it will take root in the land of Huadu, and continue to increase capacity allocation and new routes, striving to contribute its due strength to Guangzhou's economic and civil aviation development.
