In order to ease road traffic congestion, optimize traffic organization, and guarantee the orderly, safe and smooth road traffic in the urban area of Huadu District,in accordance with to the Law of The People's Republic of China on Road Traffic Safety and other relevant regulations, it is decided that traffic bans for trucks over 5 tons will be implemented on some urban roads in the district. It is hereby announced as follows:

I. Time and areas of the truck bans

(I) All-day truck bans areas: east of the Xinjie Road-Jianshe North Road area, south of Sandong Road, west of Shuguang Road, and north of the Tianmei Road-Xinhua Road-Binhu Road-Huanhu Road-Huanan Road area.

(II) Areas with truck bans from 6:00 to 22:00: Lihong Middle Road-Hongmian Road-Old Line G107-East of Furong Road, south of Pingbu Road (Huadu Road), west of the Fenghuang North Road-Baishou Road-Yingbin Road-Jinghu Road area, and north of the Yayao Middle Road-Gongye Road area.

Areas in (I) and (II) above do not include the roads referred to.

II. Trucks over 5 tons in this Announcement refer to the trucks with approved payload capacity of 5t or above, special operation vehicle with approved payload capacity of 5t or above, and traction vehicle with approved total traction capacity of 5t or above.

III. Military vehicles, police vehicles, fire engines, ambulances and engineering rescue vehicles on an emergency mission are not subject toArticle I.

IV. In case of any violation against this Announcement, the traffic management department of the public security organ shall impose punishment according to the law.

V. This Announcement shall come into force on the date of promulgation, and shall remain in force for five (5) years.
