Huadu Appeared in the 11th GIFE, Seeking to Help Build a New Growth Pole for Guangzhou with Green Finance
The 11thChina Guangzhou International Finance Expo (GIFE) was held in Section A, China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou from September 24 to 26. Huadu District appeared in the Fair with its own booth to showcase the development advantages of the District and the achievements in the reform and innovation of green finance, seeking to help build a new growth pole in northern Guangzhou. At the launching ceremony held at the main venue, Lu Rixin, Vice Chair of CPPCC Huadu committee and Director of Huadu Economic Development Zone Management Committee signed, on behalf of Huadu District Government, cooperation agreements with China Southern Airlines Aviation Industry Investment Private Equity Fund Management (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou GPC Capital Private Equity Fund Management Co., Ltd respectively.
As an important platform to showcase the achievements of Guangdong and Guangzhou in the reform, innovation and development of the financial industry, the GIFE has become a large financial trading expo in China with strong regional influence, and rich functions and content. Bearing in mind the central topic of building new growth pole for Guangzhou, Huadu exhibition area at GIFE this year is arranged under the theme of "New Power of Green Finance for the Northern Growth Pole", in which exhibition boards, pictures, videos and other materials are used to highlight the development advantages of Huadu District and its achievements and experiences in green finance, to demonstrate Huadu District’s geographic advantages, development positioning, and industrial layout that serve as important supporting foundation for build a new growth pole, and to depict the future of Huadu as the northern growth pole for Guangzhou’s future development and the new opportunities in the process of supporting the development of the new growth pole with green finance.
In order to further strengthen the connection between finance and industry, Huadu made at GIFE introduction to District's green financial policies, and recorded enterprises that showed interest for follow-up, so that high-quality enterprises, projects and investment institutions might have more opportunities of contact and exchange.
