Birth of Huadu's First “5A Good Standardization Practices Enterprise"

  Recently, after completing the process of application, expert guidance, assessment and acceptance, Guangzhou Jinghua Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. successfully passed the on-site confirmation of 5A Good Standardization Practices Enterprise, making it the first Huadu District to obtain a "5A Good Standardization Practices Enterprise" certificate.

  Established in 2002, Jinghua Steel Pipe is the only subsidiary of Jinghua Steel Holding Group in South China that integrates production, sales and research and development. The company has long attached great importance to standardization, and treated becoming a “Good Standardization Practices Enterprise" as an important strategy for enterprise innovation and development and an important measure to promote the upgrading of company’s management level, believing that standardization contributes to the company's capacity to innovate, compete, influence and resist risks. In recent years, the company has successively won a number of honorary titles, including "Local Backbone Private Industrial Enterprise", "Advanced Enterprise in Emission Reduction" and "Guangzhou Enterprise with Harmonious Labor Relations". They did not stop improving their standard system after successfully become a "4A Good Standardization Practices Enterprise", and applied in January of last year to be certified as a 5A Good Standardization Practices Enterprise, and strictly implement the collection and archiving system and other work related to the certification.

  According to the Deputy General Manager of Jinghua Steel Pipe, who is also the head of the company’s standardization office, after submission of the application, Huadu Administration for Market Regulation had visited the company many times to provide guidance, and had been helpful in standard compliance, as well as in creation and revision of standards. "The process of becoming a 5A Good Standardization Practices Enterprise has effectively promoted technical standards, work standards and management standards in various aspects to be scientific, standardized and regularized, which will be a force to help and positively stimulate the company to improve in business operation and management, product quality and efficiency, and market competitiveness.” Our next step is to focus on implementing relevant systems and norms of standardization good practices, taking into consideration of the actual situation of the company. ”

  Standardization good practices require that enterprises carry out standardization work to establish and effectively operate a set of enterprise standard systems in accordance with a series of national standards to ensure orderly implementation of activities of standardization work and achieve good economic and social benefits. In recent years, the District Administration for Market Regulation has attached great priority to the creation of enterprise standard systems; it has worked actively to built a standardization service platform, helped enterprises carry out standard revision, supported and encouraged leading enterprises to participate in the formulation and revision of national, industry and local standards, took initiative to provided services to enterprises, urged them to pursue excellent performance management; all for the purpose of promoting high-quality economic and social development of Huadu.

  As of now, thanks to the promotion of the Administration, 4 enterprises and institutions have national-level standardization pilot projects, 5 have provincial-level standardization pilot projects, 1 has provincial-level agricultural standardization demonstration zone; in addition, 41 enterprises and institutions participate in the formulation and revision of 72 national, industry and local standards, 48 enterprises have been certified as standardization good practices enterprises, 9 enterprises have been awarded the title of “Lead Runner" in enterprise standardization, and 131 enterprises have standard compliance check for 194 products.
