Huadu District 2023 guidance of applications of outstanding imported talents for housing subsidies has been released. An eligible talent newly imported by an enterprise in Huadu District may receive a housing subsidy of up to 100,000 yuan.

　　Since the release of the "26 Pro-Business and Enterprise Supporting Rules of Huadu District" on March 16, 2020, Huadu District has been providing housing subsidies to newly imported outstanding talents of the District to help enterprises in Huadu cultivate high-quality talents. To be specific, a subsidy of 100,000 yuan is offered to executives of key enterprises, 100,000 yuan to outstanding talents from Hong Kong and Macao, 100,000 yuan to outstanding foreign experts, 50,000 yuan to talents with professional title at associate senior or above, 50,000 yuan to those with doctoral degrees and 30,000 yuan to those with master’s degrees. The application period is from April 17, 2023 to June 30, 2023.

　　Criteria for application:

　　1) Basic conditions

　　(1). The talent is imported by an enterprise in Huadu District after March 16, 2020, and has not worked in Huadu District before;

　　(2). The talent has paid social insurance premiums as an employee of the enterprise for 6 consecutive months (in case of an overseas talent, payment of individual income tax for 6 months), and there is no make-up payment or on-behalf payment of social insurance;

　　(3). The talent has a long-term legal residence in the District by buying or renting a house.

　　2) Talent qualifications

　　(1). Entrepreneurs and executives: holders of senior management positions in key enterprises in the Districts and having not reached the retire age of China.

　　(2). Outstanding talents from Hong Kong or Macao: Hong Kong or Macao young people coming to the Greater Bay Area for employment or start-up of business, with a full-time bachelor's degree or above from any of the world's top 200 first-class universities, and not more than 44 years old.

　　(3). Outstanding foreign experts: Foreign high-end talents who hold the "Foreigner Work Permit" (Type A), and there is no age restrictions.

　　(4). Talents with professional qualification at associate senior or above: Having completed household registration in Huadu before Mar. 16, 2020; and those with full senior professional title shall not be more than 45 years old, and those with associate senior professional title shall not be more than 40 years old.

　　(5). Talents with master degree or above: Having completed household registration in Huadu before Mar. 16, 2020; and those with doctoral degree shall not be more than 40 years old, and those with master degree shall not be more than 30 years old.

　　Eligible talents newly imported by enterprises in Huadu District may search for the "Huadu District Government" app on WeChat; find "Talent Butler", click the "Housing Subsidy Application by Excellent Talents", and submit the application materials required. Or the talents may prepare hardcopy materials and submit them to the Talent Service Window of Huadu District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau in accordance with the Application Guidance.
