On May 26, the District CPPCC organized a special consultation and deliberation activity for the promotion of high-quality development of Huadu’s cosmetics industry.

　　Members of the District CPPCC visited Guangzhou Fan Wenhua Cosmetics Co., Ltd. and the headquarters of Keying Group in China Beauty Capital Headquarters Economy Area to collect information about the construction progress, investment attraction and development of the industrial park, and to offer comments and suggestions on the construction of high-quality cosmetics industrial cluster area and the development of the industry.

　　Information shows that Huadu is an important cluster area of cosmetics, accounting for 15% of the domestic industry. The District has 281 cosmetics manufacturers, more than 500 enterprises on the upstream and downstream supply chains, and more than 3,000 commercial enterprises, with a cosmetics output of about 36 billion yuan in 2022. In the first four months of this year, the total industrial output value of above-scale cosmetics manufacturers in Huadu District increased by 13.8% year-on-year, showing a strong momentum of development.

　　Relevant leaders of the District CPPCC said that all relevant agencies should actively promote the concentration of cosmetics manufacturing enterprises, platforms and sales enterprises to "one core, four parks and multiple bases” of Huadu, in order to optimize the industrial space layout, and brighten the image of "beauty capital of China"; should strengthen brand building, vigorously implement brand cultivation actions, and actively attract well-known cosmetics enterprises to settle in Huadu; and should rely on the China Beauty Capital (Huadu) cosmetics industry platform to unite universities and research institutions to strengthen innovation and technological research; and that District CPPCC members should also actively play the role of bridge and tie, and actively participate in and support the high-quality development of the cosmetics industry in the District.
