On June 25, Huadu Yuhui Fashion Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park broke grounds officially, marking a mile-stone achievement of Shiling Town's efforts in upgrading and transformation, and in capital increase and expansion, of inefficient industrial parks, and also showing the determination and action of Shiling Town on the road of promoting the "Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand" project.

In the process of in-depth promotion of the "Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand" project, Shiling Town actively responded to the call of the state to accelerate the reactivation of existing construction land and improve the level of intensive land use. The promotion of the Guangzhou Huadu Fashion Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Port (Village and Town Industrial Cluster) speaks loud of the implementation of this policy. As one of the first pilot projects for the renewal and transformation of village and town industrial cluster areas of Guangzhou in 2023, the Industrial Port covers an area of about 217.5 acres, and adopts an approach of phased and segmented implementation to ensure rolling development, where a segment is pushed forward after the previous one becomes mature.

Information shows that Huadu Yuhui Fashion Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park is located in Lianhe Village of Shiling Town; the project plans to adopt the "industry on upstairs" model, supplemented by the combination of "high-end factory buildings + industrial services"; It has a planned total construction area of about 224,000 square meters and an investment of about 400 million yuan.

This plan indicates that Shiling Town will be built into a fashion intelligent manufacturing industrial park covering leather goods, garments and accessories, high-end cosmetics and other industries, to inject new vitality into the regional economic development. Demolition of old factory buildings for the project started as early as in April. After the demolition of about 3,000 square meters, more room will be made for future development, which not only will drive the growth of the local economy, but also will create more employment opportunities and a better living environment for residents.
